Plot[]

Kyouko and her father enjoy breakfast together and Kyouko brings up the fact that he was supposed to visit her mother's grave on the anniversary of her passing. However, her father states that he'll visit it next year, to which, Kyouko states that's what he says every year. With those words, Kyouko leaves to go study, leaving her father to enjoy his breakfast.

At the library, Kyouko and Youta study together and Kyouko deeply sighs making Youta feel self-conscious that he's being tutored by her. This is not the case though, as she details a prickly situation back at her home. Apparently her father who is a translator barely has left their house in ten years since her mother has past away. Furthermore, he promises to visit her mother's grave every year, however, Kyouko's father never does, only promising that he'd visit it the next year. Youta then asks if that's why Kyouko is always in the library to study with him, to which, she bluntly confirms leaving Youta distraught as she wasn't doing it to hang with him. Afterward, Youta informs Hina of his dilemma who scolds him and states that the end of the world is in 12 days. So, Hina drags Youta out of the house to Kyouko's house in hopes to get Kyouko's father out of his house.

Once they're at Kyouko's house, Youta tries several times to convince Kyouko's father to leave the house, however, all attempts fail, until Youta asks him for advice for a birthday present for Kyouko. The trio then take a train into town and Kyouko's father is impressed with all of the new changes around the town, especially the various specials served at restaurants. In the final restaurant they visit, Kyouko's father enjoys some wine and recalls how he used to enjoy it with his wife and details that he wishes to join her. Hearing disconcerts both Youta and Hina as they believe he's talking about committing suicide. His morbid insinuated statement though is later clarified that what he was talking about was watching recorded videos with his wife and asks the two to not disclose it to Kyouko as it's a family matter. Afterward, Hina goes on a bit of a shopping spree and late that afternoon as they walk home, the two talk about Kyouko's mother. Back at Youta's home, they watch an old video between Youta and Kyouko's family. This gives Hina a grandiose idea to contact Kyouko while posing as her mother using a symphonic voice.

The next day at the library, Youta and Kyouko study together and when they finish, Youta details that he has a magic phone that is connected to the afterlife. He offers Kyouko to use it to contact her mother and when she does, she learns about the videos that Kyouko's mother left behind. Enlightened by this news, Kyouko rushes home and confronts her father about it. Kyouko's father then details that he's watched them over the past 10 years to help him get by, however, he never finishes the entire video when he watches it. Wanting to watch it as well, Kyouko's father agrees to allow her daughter to watch it so long as they don't finish it. The both of them then watch the video left by Kyouko's mother where she uses, "magic" and talks to Kyouko from age 7, 13, and stopping at 18. Why it was stopped at age 18 is because Kyouko's mother requests that the videos be destroyed when they watch it any further. Pleading with her father to finish watching the video left by her father, he concedes and the two watch the rest of the video. In it Kyouko's mother details how she knows how morose and low spirited the two are with her passing so she casts a spell to make the two of them happy and the video ends. Because of it, the two reconcile with each other and overcome there disheartened spirits. Eventually, the two visit Kyouko's mother's grave and thanks Youta for what he did for her. She also asks Youta if there is anything that she can do for him, to which, he thinks now is a perfect time to confess and ask her out. However, he fails to do so making Hina lose her temper on him, because of it. There are now 11 days left until the end of the world.
