The Day the Angel Falls (天使が堕ちる日, Tenshi ga Ochiru Hi) is the third episode of the Kamisama ni Natta Hi anime series.
Plot[]
The morning of the day after Sora arrived at home it's learned that Sora's senpai she got her injuries from fleeing from a money lender. It was done in order to help her with the pinch that she was in. Hearing this, Hina decides to help Sora's senpai Hikari out, as does Tokiko and Daichi who ask to hear everything.
It turns out that Hikari's family runs a ramen shop, however, its gone into severe debt. Furthermore, the loan that they took out has outrageous interest attached to it that has to be paid off. Hina then concocts a plan to help the ramen shop out, which is create a new innovative ramen dish that will trend amongst the people. Youta is conscripted to help out as Hina cannot make the ramen in the kitchen due to her clothing which must be worn at all times to keep her god powers. So after reading the "secret plan" about how to save the ramen by Hina and later in a disguise, Youta visits the shop. There, he's greeted by Hikari and Youta then orders the house special which is the Heavenly Ramen. After tasting the ramen and searching around the restaurant, Youta concludes that there isn't anything wrong with the shop. Finishing his meal, Youta gives Hikari his card claiming he's a ramen shop revitalizer and he's there to help it for a low price of 100 yen a day. Although Hikari is reluctant to accept the offer, Youta gives a convincing argument and claims within 3 days he can revitalize the shop.
Their first order of business is to change the name of the ramen shop, from Ramen Heavenward to Fallen Angel. Next they change the recipe to the house specialty and although no additives is a specialty of the house, it's changed in favor of adding MSG. The final product is a simple ramen dish that tastes wonderful. They then discuss about how to promote their products on social media and just as they were about to develop a new cold ramen dish, Sora arrives in the shop to help. And she helps the new sign be placed on top of the shop as well as tries the new cold ramen dish which is deemed delicious. That night back in the Narukami residence, Sota learns from Hina that his job at the shop isn't over, that a news crew will arrive the next day to promote the shop. The commercial that is shot is heavily extravagant and focuses mostly on Youta's false persona. A young man being driven somewhere who watches the commercial, notes how stupid it and then goads his driver Raito to get him some takoyaki. Raita, however, refuses as he believes that he's trying to get the restraints on him removed. Hiroto though threatens to hack into the company that Raita works for and crush the financial system with illegal transfers. In the end, Raita concedes to Hiroto's request and allows him to have some takoyaki. Enjoying his food, a mother calls out to his mother named Aira and Hiroto decides to help her. Using his hacking abilities, to locate the mother's daughter.
Back to Youta's situation, the ramen shop is now thriving, however, their work isn't done there yet. That night, the loan shark appears in the ramen shop with loan contract in hand and Hina snatches it away from him. Following Hina's instructions, Youta fights the loan shark and beats him, causing the shark to flee. Afterward the truth is revealed to Hikari and she's thankful to Youta, Hina, and Sora for all of their help.
Elsewhere, Hiroto meets with a woman and is assigned to work with Raita to uncovered information on a physicist named Shuichiro Korogi.
