Ashura Kokuhou (国宝 阿修羅 (Kokuhō Ashura) is the best friend of Youta Narukami.
Appearance[]
Ashura has shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair that is tied in a low ponytail and amber colored eyes.
He wears a white button up dress shirt over a burnt orange shirt, black pants, and shoes.
Personality[]
Ashura is shown to be a bit of a hot-head who is annoyed by Hina Satō's pretentious attitude.
Plot[]
Ashura plays a game of basketball with Youta Narukami until the two are met by a girl who is also a self pro-claimed god named Odin. After this brief encounter with the Odin, he grows agitated by the pretentious young girl and heads off leaving Youta with the girl.
Etymology[]
- The name Ashura means "Africa, flatter, fawn upon, corner, nook, recess" (阿) (a), "discipline, study, conduct oneself well, master" (修) (shu) and "lightweight fabric, gauze, thin silk, Rome" (羅) (ra).
- Ashura's surname Kokuhou means "national treasure" (国宝).
